I tend to use a piece of shock cord instead of the strap. I just tie it on then stretch it over my boots when I put them on. They can be tricky to find though. Make sure you get breathable ones. I know this is an older post and I hope...Hi Geoff,<br /><br />I know this is an older post and I hope that Tilly is still with you and leading the way, but had a question about you feathertop gaiters, do you still use them and do you rate them or have you binned them in favour of something else? I’m thinking of getting some for the weight but want to make sure they actually function.
