The Laser Comp doesn't have this ...Interesting. The Laser Comp doesn't have this problem because of the much maligned pole hood. I've never had any leakage with the LC in some very heavy rain. However, it has similar distortion issues in high winds. I've added some mid panel hem pegging points to calm it down. The best tent in these conditions is the Tarptent Scarp 1.
